FOLIC EXPERT® meets the folic acid needs of women during the conception period

FOLIC EXPERT® is a food supplement based on 5-MTHF Quatrefolic® folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12, specially formulated to meet the folic acid needs of women planning a pregnancy as well as throughout the 1st trimester of pregnancy. It provides 600 μg of 5-MTHF per tablet, a high dosage in line with the latest re-evaluations by EFSA and ANSES.

FOLIC'EXPERT®, a tablet designed for optimal assimilation

To fully perform its role in the body, folic acid must be converted into its active form, methylated folic acid: 5-MTHF. Because we are not all capable of making this conversion, FOLIC'EXPERT® directly provides the active form, Quatrefolic® 5-MTHF, for optimal assimilation.

This 5-MTHF folic acid is combined with vitamins B6 and B12, in their bioavailable forms, two cofactors to help maintain normal homocysteine levels.

Vitamin B9, the go-to supplement before and during the first three months of pregnancy

Folates, also known as vitamin B9, contribute to maternal tissue growth during pregnancyand play a role in the cell division process. Folate requirements increase during pregnancy: it is therefore important to ensure adequate intake from the preconception period.

The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 400 μg of folic acid, starting at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

Usage tips

1 tablet per day to be swallowed with a glass of water, at least one month before conception and the first three months of pregnancy.

Precaution for use

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and not as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. The presence of methylcobalamin may cause black spots to appear on the tablet; this does not affect the quality of the product. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. For adults only. Keep out of reach of young children. Store at room temperature, away from heat and light. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this food supplement.
