Why use EKTAGYN® VAGINAL GEL?

By allowing thee maintenance of the natural hydration of the vaginal mucosa, EKTAGYN® VAGINAL GEL relieves symptoms such as dryness, burning sensations, itching and discomfort during sexual intercourse. Its effectiveness has been demonstrated in a clinical study.

Thereunique combination of ectoine and hyaluronic acidallows toprovide long-term reliefsymptoms of vaginal atrophy, intimate dryness and vaginal irritation.

High molecular weight hyaluronic acid, thanks to its mucomimetic and viscoelastic properties, guarantees agood lubrication and hydration of the vaginal mucosaand contributes to agood elasticity.

Ectoine is an osmoprotective molecule, which ensures ahumectant action allowing water to be attracted and retained in the very heart of the cells. Ectoine therefore has propertiesmoisturizingbut alsoprotectiveon the tissues. Ectoine creates an aqueous barrier to defend the mucous membranes, which are thus strengthened and naturallyprotected from irritation.

Thanks to its physiological pH of 4.5, EKTAGYN® VAGINAL GEL respects thebalance of vaginal flora.Its formula is hormone-free, colorant-free, fragrance-free and carbomer-free.

Mode d'emploi

Wash hands before use. Unscrew the cap, press down fully with the other side of the cap to pierce the aluminum seal (only to be done when opening for the first time). Screw the application cannula onto the tube in place of the cap. Squeeze the tube to fill the cannula with the product. Fill the cannula completely. Unscrew the nozzle from the tube. Insert the cannula into the vagina and empty the cannula by pressing the plunger. Remove the cannula. Discard the cannula after use, do not reuse. Close the tube after use.

Precaution for use

Do not use for purposes other than those indicated in the instructions. Wash hands thoroughly before application. Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. After first opening, use the product within 8 weeks. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. For local use, do not swallow. Do not use if the packaging is open or damaged. Close the tube carefully after use. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components. Discontinue treatment in case of abnormal skin reactions. In case of prolonged use, consult a doctor. The product has no spermicidal or contraceptive effect. Each tube should be used only by one person.

Ectoine is an osmoprotective molecule, which provides a humectant and soothing action and has moisturizing and protective properties on tissues. Ectoine creates an aqueous barrier to defend the mucous membranes, which are thus strengthened and naturally protected from irritation.
Hyaluronic acid is a highly soluble, high-molecular-weight, non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan. Due to its muco-mimetic and viscoelastic properties, it ensures good lubrication of the vaginal mucosa.
The combination of ectoine and hyaluronic acid provides relief from symptoms of mild to moderate/severe vaginal atrophy, as well as vaginal dryness and irritation at the time of application and over the long term.
